What To Expect For Surgery

Morning Check-In

All Surgery check-ins are between 7am and 8am. We've allocated a 10-minute appointment time to ensure personal attention for your pet. You'll have a discussion with the doctor who will:

Examine your pet.
Address any questions or concerns you might have.
Guide you through the necessary paperwork.

Note: The sequence in which pets are dropped off doesn’t determine the surgery order. Our doctors prioritize based on age, health history, and surgery type.

During The Day

Your pet will rest in a comfortable kennel. Rest assured, our dedicated team keeps a vigilant watch before and after the procedure to make sure your pet is comfortable and safe. To make them feel comfortable, we:

Use pheromone sprays and plug-ins.
Play gentle classical music in the background.
Place an IV catheter for pre-surgery fluids.

After the procedure, the doctor will give you a call to update you on how things went and inform you about the pick-up time, which is usually between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

Pick-Up Time

Kindly check in at the front desk at your scheduled pickup time. We'll process any charges and, if necessary, arrange follow-up visits. A trained technician will:

Go over post-surgery care details.
Provide any prescribed medications.
And lastly, the best part – reunion time! We’ll bring your pet to see you!
