Wellness Testing

We recommend annual wellness testing on all of our patients. Pets age 7x faster than humans, so a lot can happen in just one year. Annual wellness testing helps the doctor understand what is "normal" for your pet and identify common genetic or congenital conditions. In the future, the doctor can detect subtle changes in lab values and potentially detect diseases before your pet is even showing signs of illness.

Digital Radiograph

We provide the latest in digital radiography, giving our clients clearer images and instant results. Included in the cost of radiographs is a review and interpretation by a board certified veterinary radiologist. This ensures the most accurate reading of what is shown on your pet's radiographs and allows us to create the best treatment plan for your pet.

Ultrasonography

Ultrasound allows your pet's veterinary team to visualize and measure vital organs, particularly the heart, liver, kidneys, and intestines. The ultrasound is also used when obtaining urine samples to locate and check the bladder for abnormalities. An ultrasound will often be used in conjunction with digital x-rays to ensure a proper diagnosis.

In-House Laboratory Testing

A full in-house laboratory gives us instant results for your pet. For sick pets, blood and urine testing provide key information for the doctor to begin appropriate treatment. Values can also be monitored throughout the day for patients that are hospitalized or for diabetics getting a routine Glucose Curve. Other, more comprehensive lab panels are sent to an outside laboratory. Results are acquired in 24-48 hours and interpreted by your veterinarian.
